If anyone knows me personally, they know I am not a huge reader. Ironic I know. Ever since I was in my last few semesters of college (with twins at home and pregnant with Teage) reading became a chore that I have not quite figured out how to look at differently. So when I do read, I make it count. I want to walk away feeling uplifted and inspired to be better.
This week I will be sending out a double dose of uplifting reading to the lucky winner of the book giveaway bonus.
L.Jay has donated a few copies of his newest book Decide Now The Good Life or The Best Life, to be part of our weekly giveaways for a few weeks! I was blessed to read over some of the chapters of this book in it's final preparations for publishing. I promise you will not be disappointed if you are the winner of this book. I need the extra motivation and inspiration to get through some really hard times that myself and my family address going though right now. We all have bad stuff that happens, but after awhile it gets harder and harder to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I am stressed beyond belief but hide it when I am out so many people don't even understand what we are going through. ReplyDeleteYay! Another giveaway:) You're so sweet! I have a dear friend who just lost her husband to a farming accident on Monday! He left behind 3 beautiful kids under the age of 4. I would love a copy of these books to share with her. I have been racking my brains all week to try to find a way to help her and this would be perfect! I feel as though you are talking directly to me each and every time I read your blog. It is the same every time someone gives a talk on forgiveness or a related subject in sacrament. I have a daughter that I have not seen or heard her voice in two and a half years because of the influence of someone who has convinced her that the believes she once held so close are just old-fashioned. I miss her terribly and feel as though my heart had been pulled out of my chest. There are many wonderful things in my life that I am grateful for, but nothing fills the hole I have in my heart. Until your blog I felt as though no one could possibly understand how I was feeling but as I read, I know that you have experienced every emotion I have. Thank you for your willingness to share such a hard and personal part of you life.
