Double Book Giveaway Take 2

The hustle and bustle of summer finally feels like it is coming to an end, and I am kind of excited to feel a chill in the air. I am going to be spending more time in doors working on book 2 and journaling on the blog, but today I want to do another book giveaway. Please leave a comment on the blog, ON FACEBOOK, or ON INSTAGRAM to be considered for these two books.

I will pick the winner tomorrow night and mail them out first thing Thursday morning. Happy Tuesday night!

  1. I would looooooove a copy of these books for my husband and I! It would help strengthen our marriage even more, I think. He is in the military and gone often, so we need all the prayers and any extra support we can get to keep our marriage strong.

  7. Hey Ashlee! It's me again Lori Baker:) I would love to share these books with my dear friend who just recently lost her husband in a farming accident! He left behind 3 beautiful children ages 5, 3, and 1. Now that the funeral is over she could really use your words of encouragement, love, hope, and the strength of your testimony:) Dealing with my husbands depression can at times feel like a constant battle but your words of love and your testimony that you've shared with so many of us uplifted me and gave me strength to press on and endure! Having a loved dealing with a mental illness definitely isn't easy but is worth it in the end when there is people like you helping us through:) Thanks Ashlee! With love <3

  22. I could really use some uplifting. I recently went back to church after being less active for the past 8 years. My kids love primary, and I love being at church, but the adversary knows how to work on people. We've had stress with my husband's job and things aren't always easy. If I won I would totally pass these on after I read them too. Thanks for the chance!

  23. Ashlee, thank you for sharing your story and your soul so courageously! You inspire others (especially me) with your writing. I'm so excited to hear you say that you are planning to keep this up! I shared your story and link on my blog (theonecoping.blogspot.com), and will share more on these books with my readers after I read them. I bought Silence Breaks from you, and I will buy your others. If you choose me as the winner, I will give them to someone who has never heard your story, but will use it to help them heal and to influence others. Thank you for who you are Ashlee!

  26. My dreams were shattered in a different way than yours were. My Titanic sunk before I even had a chance to be a Captain at the helm. As a child I suffered sexual abuse for years at the hand of my Grandfather. It was not until I was about 23 years old that I learned to Captain my ship, rebuild my dreams, take accountability for my life and decisions. Through the love of my Heavenly Father and faith in the Atonement of my Savior I was able to forgive my Grandfather and myself. I have been able to use my experiences to better my life and the life of my beautiful children and wonderful husband. That is a very condensed summary of my story! I have been uplifted, strengthened and inspired by yours...Thank you!

  27. Thank you! You are such an inspiration to so many. You have found courage and strength where so many believe none could be found. Listening to you speak and reading your blog has given me hope that I can find some of my own. As you have said, we each have our own stories and they are not perfect, but they are our own. Your posts have hit so close to home so many times and I am hopeful that I can become a light just as you have. Thanks again!

  29. When other people share their experiences it reminds us that all of our trials are so different. Yet we are all loved and equal in gods eyes, we are all struggling children in the classroom of life. It is by sharing with others that we can help and build each other up. Even though my life has dealt me different trials I am able to still relate to you, and understand the unconditional love god has for each one of us. I feel our trials add to our "resume" of this life, when we go through something we become knowledgable and are able to help others. When another person has a similar experience we should be one of the first people to offer help and understanding. I thank you for sharing your life with so many people!

  32. These books would be great to have. You are an inspiration to me. It's been 17 years since I went through my traumatic divorce and infidelity and can relate to so much of what you share. We were not victims of homicide but we were victims of a husbands choice and it has had an affect on my and my children's relationships.

  40. I was at a fireside one night where the speaker shared tidbits concerning a very difficult time in her life. During tearful prayer, she was told, "I have experienced all things, which is how I know that what you're going through is hard." We CAN do hard things. Thank you for helping me remember that.
