Thank you for this post and all of your other ones. I am not a widow, but have gone through some tough times with my husband's addictions. In the past I have read the experiences in your blog that you shared in this interview. I needed to hear them again. They truly inspired me and helped me feel the spirit. Lately I have felt like I am in a rut and feeling like I am inadequate. Your words have helped me to remember to think about and serve others. That I am a daughter of Heavenly Father and that he loves me and is always there for me. Thank you for your example. Thank you for sharing your experiences and testimony.

This was a great interview. My husband was not killed. But just like you, I want my husband to be there to say sorry, apologize for the trauma he has put me through and the shattered hopes and dreams he's caused. I don't know that it will ever happen. We are separated. So I guess I'm just commenting that the acknowledgement wouldn't have necessarily come if he were still alive...
